decisions decisions

This sucks, do I pre-order Star Wars Empire at War from Gamestop.com so I can get the desktop Death Star w/sound effects or buy it at Fry's thursday morning for whatever mystery low price they'll be selling it for and not get the cool Death Star. Dammit, why can't the B&M Gamestops have this as a cool reservation giveaway? Bastards.
Oh, and Happy Valentines Day for those who actually give a shit.

Go Astros!

Luckily I checked my email this morning or I would have missed the Astros ticket presale opportunity. I scored a number of tickets for opening day and also for the final home game of the season and a few games in between. Ticket prices have gone up since last year but not by much fortunately. Looking forward to the season opener, it’s going to be a really loud night. Good stuffs.

got chicken?

As many do on Superbowl Sunday, I gorged myself on a number of treats yesterday. Sorry Janice, I really have to talk food stuffs today, its been a while. Anyway, our game fest included Buffalo Wings from Wingstop (20 Hot, and 15 Garlic Parmesan), a 50 piece nugget bucket from McDonald's, chips and queso, and a plate of cheese, summer sausage, and crackers that we actually never got to. There was a plan to bake brownies; but, that never happened. We started eating right after kick-off and that continued to almost the end of the game. Never got dessert until I got home and had that single twinkie shortly before bed.

Come on, Troy loves them!

The game itself wasn't all that. As expected, the Steelers won, giving them their 5th Superbowl victory in franchise history. Seattle disappointed me, I thought they would have made it more interesting.

Best part of the game:
The H.E.B. commercial with Roger Clemens, his wife, David Carr, and his wife. David is bringing groceries in, all without a bag. Roger looks at this with a puzzled look and I think says to David's wife, "is he always like this?". David's wife repsonds with "David doesn't like sacks". Roger's wife says "...wimp". Hillarious

another standout had to be the magical refrigerator by Budwiser.

lack of joy and the stargate mmo

You would think after the 8 plus hours of sleep I got last night that I would have awoken happy and refreshed. For the minimalist in me, I at least expected refreshed. Happiness is definitely a word not currently in my vocabulary. I've already lashed out at someone this morning and its not even 9:30am. I pray for the remainder of my day. I really need to put up a "do not disturb" sign outside my office for everyone elses safety.

On the lighter side of things, the Old Man let me know the other day of a new Stargate MMORPG in the works. I went ahead and sent in my resume to Cheyenne studios in case they need my expertise as a retail store manager or medical assistant. I did mention that I could translate Ancient and that I could train others to fly a death glider or X-302. Hopefully, beta testing will be in my future; although, I'm not looking forward to relocating to Mesa, Arizona.
